An ICFG work team is planned for Saturday June 20th at the Scioto Valley church in Ohio beginning at 10am. The ICFG was contacted with a request for a work team to assist with various spring clean up and landscaping projects. Those interested in helping are asked to bring work gloves and shovels, and should register online ( so that the local church can plan for meals and accommodations if needed. Paraguay Relief Effort ~ Flooding in our church area

June 18, 2014 in Ministry by WMDRJ

One of our neighboring cities and where we have a church, Bañado, is currently in a state of emergency. 35 Families of our faith are effected by this disaster. The Paraguay River has completely flooded over and continues to flood, forcing families out of their homes and into the streets and/or refuge communities. The government is helping a bit by providing materials to construct some short of shelter, but the materials are cheap and the living spaces are more or less slums. Communities and families are very much in need. The river took almost everything they had.
