One of our neighboring cities and where we have a church, Bañado, is currently in a state of emergency. 35 Families of our faith are effected by this disaster. The Paraguay River has completely flooded over and continues to flood, forcing families out of their homes and into the streets and/or refuge communities. The government is helping a bit by providing materials to construct some short of shelter, but the materials are cheap and the living spaces are more or less slums. Communities and families are very much in need. The river took almost everything they had.

You have probably heard of the Central Illinois tornadoes that recently hit Washington, IL and several surrounding towns. While a vast majority of the losses are insured, funds are still needed to help individual rebuilding efforts for those who are uninsured, under-insured, or have other unmet needs. Any donations received will be distributed through our local Tremont Apostolic Christian Church, Northfield Christian Fellowship, and the Apostolic Christian Church of America’s world relief program.
